If you’re looking to take your swimming to the next level, we recommend pairing your MySwimPro mobile app with a waterproof smartwatch. With a smartwatch, you can ditch the printed workouts, leave your phone in the locker room, and take MySwimPro with you in the pool.
With MySwimPro on your watch, you’ll be guided through your personalized Workout as you swim, won’t have to worry about counting laps or tracking splits, and your heart rate and strokes will be recorded seamlessly.
We’re constantly optimizing our app for the newest wearable technology. Here’s our guide to all of the available smartwatches, fitness trackers, and wearables that are compatible with the MySwimPro app.

Any news on Samsung gear fit 2 pro support?
Hi Alex, we are not currently supporting Samsung Gear Fit 2. Sorry!
That’s a pity. Looks really good app. Maybe in the future?
Any progress with Samsung compatibility?
Not yet, but stay tuned! Thanks for your patience.
Is the pool distance tracking available for devices that can be paired with Android, or is it just iPhones?
Yes we have an Android App too!
I currently have a Moov for
Swimming. Can that be added at all?
Regards G L
Hi George, I’m sorry but we aren’t currently developing for the Moov. Stay tuned, maybe in the future!
Any news on this?
Not yet, but stay tuned! Thanks for your patience.
Please add support for the moov which has excellent automatic swim recognition (possibly the best)…
Thanks for this suggestion! Passing along to our engineering team!
Can this be used with Polar devices.
Neil, we currently do not support Polar devices. Sorry about that!
Do you support Suunto?
I’m sorry but we do not support Suunto watches at this time!
Will you do that in the future?
Unfortunately it is not on our current plan to develop for Suunto…. but that might change in the future, we’ll see! Sorry that we don’t have a firm answer yet.
Any update on compatibility for Suunto wearables?
Hi Anna, We don’t have Suunto compatibility planned in the near future, but I’ve passed your suggestion on to our team!
I notice the Garmin fenix3 HR is not on the list of compatible devices. I use this with Strava and was hoping to use myswimpro as well as my principle swimming tool. Is this possible, even in a limited sense. Obviously full functionality would be great.
Hi Gavin, thanks for your question! We do not have a native app for the Garmin Fenix3 HR, but it will work with Garmin Sync. That will be the best way to automatically log workouts logged with your Garmin watch to MySwimPro. You can learn more here: https://support.myswimpro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003754534-Setting-up-Garmin-Sync
Hi, can I use this with my Suunto Spartan Trainer. Thx
I’m sorry but we do not support Suuno watches at the moment. Thanks!
Any plans to support the Mio Slice?
Unfortunately not at this time. Sorry!
Do you support samsung gear sport or galaxy watch?
Thank you for your message, unfortunately no, we do not support those yet. Sorry about that!
Hi, besides the Casio watch, is there another one that is Android Wear 2.0 compatible that is a little more feminine and waterproof?
The Garmin is cool, just expensive.
Hi Debra! There are more options out there, you just need to be sure you pick one that is waterproof. I do recommend the Fitbit watches, because they are smaller and inexpensive. Here’s an article I found that might help: https://www.wareable.com/smartwatches/best-smartwatches-for-women
Do you guys plan on supporting Samsung Gear/Galaxy platform? Thanks.
Unfortunately no, not at this time. Sorry about that!
Any chance your app gives vibrating pace alerts like the apple watch for running so you know you have dropped off a certain desired pace you have set to achieve. Thus you know when to speed up without even having to look at your watch.
Hi James, great question! We currently don’t have this functionality, but it could be possibly be built int he future! Our app does vibrate when it’s counting down to alert you when to start your next rep. But vibrating alerts about your pace while swimming would be an amazing feature! Thanks – Paige
The Garmin Swim watch isn’t on your list of supported Garmin devices. Seems like a natural fit. Any hope that might happen?
Hi Stewart, unfortunately there is no developer SDK with the Garmin Swim so we have no plans to offer that as an option right now. Sorry!
Well, to be honest I prefer Apple’s Smart Watch and I prefer other brands for smart watch.
We want galaxy watch :).
Polar Vantage?
Hi Tarmo, sorry but we currently don’t support Polar devices. Sorry!
Are there any plans to work with Polar in the future?
Not right now, sorry about that!

Hi, I can use it with Apple watch without carrying a phone (stand alone mode) ?
and with a Polar chest strap h7 ?

Hi Alessandro,
You can use MySwimPro without carrying your phone, as long as you have the app downloaded on your watch. Unfortunately the app doesn’t sync with the Polar chest strap. Check out this article for a full list of all our compatible devices!

In 2018 you said stay tuned for Sumsung to be added. If I am reading the thread correctly you are now saying it in not in the plan to support Samsung. Is that correct?

Any developments on the samsung watches?

When are you planning to include Fitbit Sense in supported devices?
Hi Anna,
Fitbit isn’t currently on our list for future support. Thanks for your understanding!
Can you please consider making Fitbit compatible? I had it on my Fitbit versa. But unfortunately it does and I upgraded to the Fitbit sense and I didn’t know that your app wouldn’t work for my new one.
I would have bought a Garmin if I knew that you stopped the app on upgraded versions
Hi Kat, We discontinued support for Fitbit watches in October 2020. You can still get MySwimPro workouts and track your swims without the watch, though! Here’s our full announcement about Fitbit: https://support.myswimpro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360055900214-Official-Fitbit-Announcement-
Any support for the new Wahoo triathlon watch? Thanks.
Hi there! We don’t currently support the new Wahoo watch.
Hi.
Trying to find a suitable garmin for swimming needs. Absolutely want to use this app. It’s so hard to pick. They all look really chunky (I’m tiny). Is the garmin swim comparable or the garmin venu SQ which says it’s only suitable for pool swimming. Brain is frazzled just trying to make a decision.
Hi there! We love the Garmin 945, as it has capabilities for pool and open water swimming, plus tons of other fitness activities! And, it syncs to MySwimPro! The Garmin Swim 2 isn’t fully compatible with the MySwimPro app, and we don’t yet support the Venu 2 either. Hope this helps!
It looks as if you no longer support the Garmin 735xt – is this right?!
Hi Stuart, that is correct!
Hi! Could you please recommend a swimming watch with an interval (countdown) function? Many thanks Suzie Beverley.
Hi Susan, Many Garmin smartwatches have this feature! And on Apple Watch, you can install various apps to get a countdown or interval feature.
Is there any chance in the future that you will be compatible with Samsung Galaxy watches?
Hi,
I notice on the supported watches it states it supports the Venu watches.
doesnt say if it supports the Venu SQ2 version though?
Please can you clarify?
Thanks
Hi Matthew, MySwimPro is not compatible with the Venu SQ2.
I’ve just purchased a Garmin watch so I can get this app on it.. This watch is the only Garmin watch available and has been available in my town for months. turns out .. I blew my money. I’ve spent all day trying to work out how to sync via instructions but apparently this $765 Garmin Venu 2Plus I just purchased is not compatible. Appears I still have to print out my program , but in clear plastic folder and take to pool with me. Its 2023… surely there’s a better way that doesn’t involve moving over to Apple.
Hi Alisa, Garmin doesn’t allow the Venu watches to use Custom Swim workouts, which means that MySwimPro Guided Workouts are unfortunately not compatible. You don’t need to switch to Apple, but a different Garmin watch that supports Custom Workouts would work.
Any of the watches here (https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=lLvhWrmlMv0vGmyGpWjOX6) that appear in the swim list are 100% compatible with MySwimPro.
