World Swim Day
Swimmers from 100+ countries swam a workout with us on World Swim Day on October 27, 2018! Thank you to everyone who joined us, you all did an amazing job! We improved the social share filters so they are no optimized for community member’s Facebook and Instagram feeds. These graphics look amazing and it’s great to see an increase in engagement and sharing across all social networks. There were also a number of analytics enhancements that include: Heart Rate, Splits, Stroke Count, SWOLF for the Android MySwimPro app and Garmin devices (iOS & Android).
FINA World Convention
MySwimPro has partnered with the FINA World Aquatics Convention as an official Media parter. I’ll be in Hangzhou, China this December, so let me know if you’ll be attending the convention or Short Course World Championships.

Since my early childhood, I developed a great passion for the water. The freedom and enjoyment we experience as swimmers is often hard to describe. The feeling of weightlessness in the water is something we often take for granted, but it’s one of the many joys the sport of swimming offers humanity. It was an exciting lead-up to #WorldSwimDay on Saturday 10.27.18! World Swim Day is all about empowering humanity to be active in the water. In the first 24 hours we opened registration, swimmers from 44 countries signed up to participate.
It was a pleasure speaking with U.S. Senator Gary Peters in the MySwimPro Detroit office. Entrepreneurship plays a vital role in the growth of the U.S. economy. New and young companies are the primary source of job creation in the American economy.
