April was another busy month here at MySwimPro! The team has been hard at work behind the scenes, building out epic app updates and marketing content ahead of the Olympics in just a few months’ time! Plus, we welcomed a new team member to our Product team! Read on for the full update.
New Team Member
This month we welcomed Daniel Abayomi to the MySwimPro team! Based in Nigeria, he’s our first ever UI/UX Designer. We were drawn to Daniel’s awesome design skills and his passion for helping people improve their lives. He’s working with our Product team to streamline the MySwimPro app’s user experience and interface, providing swimmers with a top notch, virtual coaching experience. Keep an eye out for his work, hitting the app soon!
World Swim Gala
On April 24, we hosted the 2nd annual World Swim Gala on YouTube Live. This year, we teamed up with elite swimmers Cody Miller, Zach Harting and Michael Gunning for a game of swimming Jeopardy! Zach crushed the competition in round 1, coming through with the win. Olympic Gold Medalist Cody Miller was our overall winner — turns out being an Olympian comes with lots of swimming knowledge!

Preparing for the Olympic Tidal Wave
The Olympics are inching closer, and we’re laying the groundwork that will allow us to ride the wave of swimming hype that only comes around every 4 years! Our Marketing team is building a foundation of inspirational and educational content for swimming fans young and old, and our Product team is working on enhancements to MySwimPro’s personal coaching experience that will help swimmers of all skill levels train hard and improve their technique.
