Why We Created MySwimPro
It’s not easy to coach yourself, and it’s even harder to know if you’re improving. On top of all of that, it’s tough to stay motivated when you’re swimming alone.
As former collegiate swimmers and coaches, our co-founders understood these challenges, and struck out to find a solution. We wanted to democratize the sport, improving access to high-quality swim coaching, workouts and support for athletes of all levels and abilities.
In 2016, the MySwimPro app was born! That same year, MySwimPro was named Apple’s App of the Year across all app categories. Since our launch, MySwimPro has been translated to 9 languages and featured in Sports Illustrated, Men’s Health, Forbes, and more!
We’ve also been featured as Apple’s App of the Day numerous times throughout the years, including during the 2021 Games in Tokyo.
How We’ve Grown
As the top brand in swimming, we’ve generated millions in revenue from our subscription service and sponsorships, and grown our social media community to more than 600,000 swimmers.
