How to Watch Swimming in Tokyo

Every 4 years, swimming takes the spotlight during the Summer Olympics. Millions of people tune in to watch athletes from all corners of the globe duke it out in the pool. After the 2020 Tokyo Olympics were postponed a full year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, swim fans are chomping at the bit to see their favorite swimmers race for gold, and a spot in the history books.

With pool and open water swimming events running from July 24 through August 4, there’s plenty to watch! Read on to find out where you can watch live streams of your favorite Olympic swimming events. Due to the time difference with Tokyo, actual live streams of the preliminary heats may make for a late-night (or early morning) viewing party!
