Kristóf Milák Wins Gold in 200m Butterfly

Kristóf Milák of Hungary looked solid during the final of the men’s 200-meter butterfly, winning by over a body length (more than 2 seconds!), and setting a new Olympic record of 1:51.25.

The race went so well for Milák that he didn’t seem to register surprise when he finished and looked at his time! Milák is the world record holder in this event — he broke Michael Phelps’ record in 2019.

It was an all-out brawl for silver and bronze — Tomoru Honda clinched silver in 1:53.73 and Federico Burdisso took bronze in 1:54.45.
