Emma McKeon Wins Gold in 100m Freestyle

Emma McKeon is on fire! After breaking the Olympic record in the 100-meter freestyle prelims in 52.13, she broke it again in finals, swimming a 51.96 — and that time was good enough to get her a gold medal!

The Aussie is joined on the podium by her teammate Cate Campbell, who took third in 52.52. Siobhan Haughey of Hong Kong added another medal to her collection, taking silver in 52.27.

2016 gold medalist Penny Oleksiak of Canada just missed the podium, finishing 4th in 52.59.
