If you’ve ever stood at the edge of a pool wondering if you’re doing it right, you’re not alone. That’s the story so many swimmers bring with them and it’s exactly the story we help rewrite.

In our most recent swim retreat in Antalya, Turkey, swimmers from all over the world showed up not just to train, but to transform. They came with different backgrounds, goals, and barriers, and left as stronger swimmers, confident movers, and friends for life.

The MySwimPro Swimming Retreat wasn’t just another getaway. It was a hands-on deep dive into what it really means to swim for life.

Real People, Real Growth

Susanne came from Hamburg. She started with the MySwimPro app way back in 2017 to get back in shape, but like so many of us, life happened. The pandemic hit, babies were born, and training got tough. But she stuck with it. With her workouts synced to her watch, her stroke data tracked automatically, and her plan customized in-app, she built her comeback. The retreat was her turning point: “I’m doing things I never thought I would do, like jumping from a block or swimming butterfly!”

Slawek, from Paris, had followed the MySwimPro content for years. He finally took the plunge to join in person. “We trained early mornings, took time to recover, learned from each other, and came out stronger. The agenda? Surprisingly perfect.”

From Brazil, Paulo brought a motto his father once told him: “Do everything with passion.” He lived that every single day at the retreat. “You don’t just improve technique. You meet magic people from all over the world who love swimming just as much.”

Jon came from the UK to fix his technique. He left doing dives he never thought possible. Samer shaved three seconds off his 50m freestyle. Karla and Jeff, from Miami, said it best: “You think you’re doing well,  then you see yourself swim on video and realize how much more there is to learn.”

Why This Matters

Swimming is more than laps in a pool. It’s a lifelong skill, a physical and mental anchor, and for many of us, a source of joy. That’s why we built the MySwimPro app, and why we created these retreats.

The app gives you the structure you need, when you need it. Whether you’re training for your first triathlon, getting back into shape post-injury or pregnancy, or just trying to swim a faster 100m, the app’s personalized plans, performance tracking, and real-time feedback make sure you’re always making progress.

The retreat is the real-world extension of that mission. It’s where swimmers become teammates. Where video analysis turns confusion into confidence. And where passion becomes practice.

Final Lap

You don’t need to be an Olympian to swim like one. You just need a plan, a community, and the willingness to push yourself a little outside your comfort zone. That’s what Antalya was all about.

To everyone who joined us: thank you. You came as swimmers. You left as family.

Let’s keep swimming for life.
