Meet Ahmed:
Hi everyone, My Name is Ahmed Nada, and I split my time between Saudi Arabia and Egypt with my wife and two daughters. I am an Engineer and work as a Supply Chain Director for one of the top FMCG companies in the Middle East and Africa.

On the other hand, I am a former professional swimmer, I participated in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing in the 100 meter Butterfly, representing Team Egypt. I am also a 3-time African champion gold medalist, 3-time Arab Champion gold medalist, and a 14-time National champion ship gold medalist.
I was the African record-holder in the 200 Butterfly from 2003 to 2007, and the national record-holder from 2005 to 2011.

I also competed in the 17th FINA World Championships in Budapest in 2017 and got 10th place in the 100 Butterfly and 100 Breaststroke.
What motivates me is to be a champion and fighter every single day. If I can set a good example for my children through swimming, then it is all worth it.
Training With MySwimPro:
I have been training with the MySwimPro app for a few years now, and I have 300+ workouts logged. The app is a great tool to guide me, since I am training on my own a lot more these days.

I simply sync it with my Garmin smartwatch, and as I swim it automatically records the details of my workouts. Keeping a log of all my workouts helps me look back and track where I need to focus.
MySwimPro helps me a lot in giving me helpful training tips, well-designed sessions, and all the tools to analyze my performance.
My goal is to place in the top 5 at the Masters World Championships in the upcoming years and maintain my progress year-over-year to be a real role model for my daughters.
My Advice For Making a Swimming Comeback:
My advice for adult swimmers who are looking to make a “comeback? or continue their training into their older years, is to make sure you have clear goals and a vision to keep you motivated everyday.
