September was an exciting month for the MySwimPro team! From our first ever virtual team adventure to World Swim Day hype, our team has been hard at work to help our global community finish 2020 strong.

Read on for a look at what we’ve been up to!

Virtual Team Adventure

Last September, we traveled from all over the world to Mallorca, Spain for our team retreat in a 13th century castle! This year, in light of the global events, each team member went on a camping adventure in their own backyard, and we shared the experience with some fun team challenges along the way!

Improving Your Swimming Experience

Over the last few months, we have been working on enhancements to GPS tracking for open water swims on Apple Watch, and added the ability to view anyone’s workout history on their profile in the app.

We made updates to in-app challenges and analytics to make them more helpful for swimmers, along with numerous small tweaks that will help swimmers get the most out of the app.

We have also been working on updates to our onboarding flow to make it easier for swimmers  to start a MySwimPro training plan. By 2021, we’ll have a fresh new flow to help our community members find the plan that works best for them!

World Swim Day 2020

World Swim Day is October 24, 2020, and we hope you’ll join us for a full weekend of swimming fun! We’re unlocking the MySwimPro app from October 23-25, giving our community free access to complete a World Swim Day swim or dryland workout and explore all of the app’s features.

Swimmers can choose from 5 swim workouts and 3 dryland workouts. With options for every skill level, any swimmer can participate, whether they have access to a pool or not!

Register for free at worldswimday.org! Be sure to use #WorldSwimDay when you share your workout on social media.

A Growing Community

Since the beginning of 2020, we’ve welcomed 13 new ambassadors to our team and interviewed top swimmers like Caeleb Dressel, Jason Lezak and Yusra Mardini! We’ve also grown our social media following by over 50,000 swimmers in the last 6 months, and it’s only up from here!

We have ramped up our video content production and have been sharing a ton of educational, entertaining and inspiring content. We recently released videos about how to put on and take off a wetsuit, how Michael Phelps became the greatest swimmer of all time, and lots of beginner tips about floating, streamline and more. These videos have amassed hundreds of thousands of views from swimmers all over the world!

New YouTube Channel

In August, we launched a brand new MySwimPro Community YouTube Channel, which hosts testimonials and inspiring stories from our community. Be sure to subscribe so you don’t miss our next video!

Brand Partnerships

In the last three months, we’ve worked with 6 different brands, including Form, Therabody, TheMagic5, creating educational content that helps our community members improve their performance and health. We have more exciting partnerships planned for the rest of 2020 and beyond!

Gold Medal Moments
