Fares Ksebati is an entrepreneur, swimmer, coach, author and mentor who helps people turn their dreams into reality. As CEO and Co-Founder of MySwimPro, Fares guides the company vision, setting strategic goals that drive company growth and position MySwimPro as the #1 fitness app for swimmers.

Fares’s role at MySwimPro was born out of his own love for the sport. Fares has been swimming for more than 20 years — he swam collegiately at Wayne State University and went on to become a 3-time U.S. Masters Swimming individual national champion. He has competed at FINA Masters World Championships, completed the Bosphorus Cross-Continental Swim, and more.

In addition to his personal swimming experience, Fares has more than 10 years of coaching expertise. He is a Level 1, 2 and 3 U.S. Masters Swimming Coach, an American Swim Coaches Association Fellow and certified USA Triathlon coach.

“After graduating from college, I was trying to figure out how to fit swimming and coaching into my “adult life.” I couldn’t figure it out, so I started MySwimPro.”

After moving on from the structure of college swimming, Fares and MySwimPro Co-Founders Adam Oxner and Mike Allon identified a problem in the swimming community that needed solving: people were desperate for help writing workouts that aligned with their goals.

In 2015, the MySwimPro app hit the App Store, and the rest is history! Well, not really.

Making an Impact

What began as an idea is now the world’s top fitness app for swimmers, with Fares at the helm. Since 2015, MySwimPro has grown:

  • 1,000,000+ app downloads
  • 6+ billion meters swum
  • 900,000 social media followers
  • 3 rounds of fundraising

  • 60+ ambassadors

“Swimming has had a transformative impact on my life and made me who I am today. I’m grateful for the opportunity to experience the water and help others swim.”

Fares’s work has been featured by Apple, Forbes 30 Under 30, Sports Illustrated and Men’s Health.
